Tropical Villa

Contemporary architecture in the tropics: white volumes, wood, marble, and vegetation that enters the frame instead of decorating it. The shoot covers the three scales a property like this needs, because none of them works alone: the aerial view places the plot in its surroundings, the façades give scale and architectural intent, the interiors show how it is lived in.

Shooting in this climate imposes its own discipline. Light is vertical for most of the day, the contrast between deep shade and white walls is extreme, and green saturates everything it touches. Every frame is exposed to hold both ends: no blown sky, no blocked interior.
